Private lessons for individuals, groups and corporations are offered all year!

Location: Leadbetter Beach (depending on the surf)

What’s Included: Surfboard + Wetsuit

What You Need: towel, warm clothes, sunscreen. If the surf is too small at Leadbetter you will need transportation to another location - up to a 20 minute drive. We transport all of the gear.

What to Expect: Lessons are sold by the hour. Time starts when we get to the water. There is usually 15 to 20 minutes of practice and preparation on the beach that includes: water safety, surfing etiquette and practicing pop-ups.

*If it is your first time, an hour is often enough. Water temperatures can get cold and paddling can be exhausting.

Santa Barbara's premier surf camp, sponsored by Surf-n-Wear Beach House is a week long camp for kids ages 8+ with basic swimming ability and a desire to ride waves. Small camper/instructor ratio gives everyone a chance to have one-on-one instruction in the water. We believe surfing is a sport of the heart and we do our best to model the aloha spirit of respect for the ocean and each other. We also have lots of fun!
